Santa delivered one of these bags for my son for Christmas in 2019 to start kindergarten the following year. He is now in year four and still using this bag.
I've washed it at least once a year (in the washing machine) and only ever had to make one repair. When he was in preschool and then kindy, orange was his favourite colour, so the hi-vis orange was perfect. His tastes have changed and that's the only reason we're shopping for a new Harlequin bag. If I had my way, he'd use this for his remaining two years of primary school and then I'd put a review on here letting you all know the bag lasted all of primary school!

But do you know a parent of a tween who gets their way when it comes to accessories and fashion? No, me neither.
I've seen other kids go through loads of school bags - sometimes more than one a year - even expensive fancy-brand ones, but this one is 100% built to last.
He hasn't used the personalised flap in a while. Sad - it was a robot. Naw...
And the repair i made was to sew the the top handle back together, which had broken, probably under the pressure of hanging on the bag hook day after day with heavy things inside. (I've zig-zagged it together and it's good as new.) It's also possible my little cherub aided the breaking process to speed up his new (not orange) bag. Surely not!

What I do know is you won't be disappointed with this purchase - it's really an investment.
